pages. Written by William Speidel Jr and illustrated by Bob Cram. In addition to
"personality sketches" of restaurants ranging from the plain-but-cozy
to the elegant-and-expensive, there are fascinating recipes from the chefs and
bartenders. Plus interesting editorials features on such subjects as the art of
dining out, the local liquor laws, the bountiful "sea fare" of the
area, and the famous and colorful Pike Place Market. Some of the restaurants
included are (this is not a complete list): El Gaucho ~ Four Winds ~ Rough Rider
Room ~ The Wharf ~ The Ranch ~ Kermit's.... and many more. Nice alphabetical
index at end of book... 1 for restaurants and 1 for the recipes.
Condition as shown, some edge/corner wear to dust jacket, book is
steel-blue-gray cloth covered in very good condition, previous owners name
stamped on ffep and inside front cover, pages are clean and unmarked, binding is
secure, very good vintage condition.
