1935 softcover cookbook ~ 65 Prize Recipes from the South ~ 29 pages,
published by Swift & Company, Chicago (Swift's Jewel Shortening). A
collection of prize-winning recipes, proved favorites from Southern homes,
chosen by Sarah Field Splint, Director of Food and Household Management of
McCall's Magazine; Mrs. S.R. Dull, Food Editor of the Atlanta Journal; and
Martha Logan, Swift & Company's Cooking and Diet Authority. Recipes include
contributors names. Includes the 65 prize-winning recipes from a contest that
had 60,000 entries!!!
Condition as shown, light wear with a few very faint creases, 3-4 pages
with slight kitchen spots else pages are
generally clean and unmarked, binding is secure, overall very good condition.
